I am an experienced, fully qualified teacher of Mathematics (BA (1st Class Honours) & PGCE) & have been teaching Mathematics for the past 17 years in London at Vyners School & at Hastings School in Madrid where I was Head of Mathematics Department for 9 years. I am passionate about mathematics & helping children & young people practise their skills, move to the next level & hone their exam technique.

I teach primary & secondary, (I)GCSE & Additional Maths, AS/AL Maths & Further Maths, IB, SAT & university entrance exam preparation in maths.

I also offer my experience & expertise to schools to help develop their maths provision across the school.

I'm very experienced in dealing with a range of abilities, from those who apply to elite universities to those that simply struggle in maths. I strongly believe maths is cumulative and with the right combination of learning strategies, scaffolded tasks and patience, my experience proves that every student can make real progress in maths.

I have taught in the UK, France, Germany & now in Spain for the last 24 years at 6 universities, at Brockenhurst Tertiary College & Farnborough Sixth Form College in the UK & at Hastings School in Madrid.

I am British with a German mum & British father, although I grew up in the UK. I am a qualified teacher (BA, MA, DIPL DELTA, PG DIPL) of English, French, German & Spanish and as Senior Manager & Director of Sixth Form (16 - 18 yr olds) at my previous school, I have 25+ years of experience in study skills, exam preparation & careers and university coaching. I have also been a teacher trainer working with Spanish teachers of English at both primary & secondary level in Madrid.

I teach English, French & German from primary to (I)GCSE, A Level & IB & I prepare students for the SATs & GRE. I also teach the full range of EFL examinations: Cambridge suite: KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, LinguaSkills, IELTS & APTIS (British Council)
